Area Description
Historic Charleston, South Carolina is one of the oldest cities in America, with the largest restored historic district in the US. Enjoy a tour by horse and carriage, cruise the Charleston Harbor or go to the beautiful beaches for a day. Antique shops, galleries and the aquarium are nearby, as are the historic Ashley River gardens, Francis Marion National Forest, ACE Basin World Biosphere Reserve, as is historic Fort Sumter. The townhouse is on beautiful Colonial Lake, only one block from the Ashley River, which, as all Charlestonians know, meets the Cooper River to form the Atlantic Ocean . The townhouse is also adjacent to Moultrie Park with lighted tennis courts and children's playground.
